Winter Programme



Starting Friday 7th February to Friday 1st May 10am to 12.30pm 10 sessions,
solution focussed course for parents/ carers (term time) at Morrisons, Netherfield, Discounted breakfast and cuppas included
“Confident Carers, Confident Kids” filled with confidence exercises for carers (to share with their kids)


We host a monthly meet up for parents, carers, course participants and course alumni on the second Monday of every month. This is an opportunity for our members to share a cuppa and a catch up and be inspired by guest speakers. Originally held at Derrymount Special School.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club is an opportunity for our friendly group of parents/carers to meet in different venues (that offer affordable breakfasts) We welcome all parents/carers of children/adults with additional needs  – please share widely – all are welcome.


Accessible Training Events

Include but not limited to:

  • Disability Awareness
  • Mental Health and Autism
  • Workshops with Speakers
  • Events with Speakers

Bespoke Staff training to meet the needs of social enterprises, charities, educational providers, health services, social services and care providers.

Training includes but not limited to:

  • Peer led learning events for service providers with families of disabled people in the community
  • Sensory modulation awareness workshops
  • Events delivered by specialist speakers and trainers
  • Training the service providers to deliver relevant and helpful support
  • Raising community awareness of the experiences of socially isolated/ socially excluded groups

Support Projects for Families

  • Providing parents and families with necessary tools and support to help manage challenging home lives
  • Creating bespoke solutions which supply innovative projects, products and services to meet the needs of identified families
  • Providing relevant and helpful crisis support
